Crown of Down is a chill and wavy Lo-Fi Hip-Hop Beat Tape. Including 19 tracks and over 45 minutes of quality content, the record has a laid back study-friendly energy level, while still prompting a strong head knock with driving and gritty drums. The songs were assembled on SP series drum machines and are full of the quintessential tonal qualities and FX that make these samplers iconic. ‘Crown of Down’ utilizes samples from vintage nature documentaries to add an avian motif to the soft melodies and punchy drums.
